Bugout
Inspired by the verdant canopies of northern boreal forests, we’re pleased to present the 535FE-2602 Bugout® in Taiga Green aluminum and brown canvas micarta. Featuring our FDE PVD Battlewash blade finish over S90V stainless super steel, we’ve accented the bolstered Taiga Green handle with Burnt Copper hardware accents, combining earthy tones, premium detailing, and lightweight materials into a refined EDC that strikes a balance between classic outdoor styling and cutting-edge performance. Answer the call of the wild with the Taiga Green Bugout®.
Blue Grivory
The Bugout® was designed for the modern outdoor adventurer, incorporating the lightest, best performing materials in an extremely slim yet ergonomic package.
Ranger Green Grivory
Subtle, yet capable, the latest version of the Bugout® was developed to be easily carried anywhere without drawing attention to itself. Ranger green handles and a smoked gray, Cerakote® blade blend into nearly any environment. Whether you're in the city or mountains, this lightweight folder will be ready when you are.
Gray Aluminum
Pinch yourself, you aren't dreaming. The ultimate iteration of the iconic Bugout® is here. Featuring ever-popular M390 blade steel and a stunning sunburst milling pattern milled into the aircraft aluminum handles, the 535BK-4 Bugout® is just what your pocket needed.
Crater Blue Grivory
The Bugout® is one of the most popular knives in our line—and one of the most pocketed blades in the EDC community. Originally designed and built for outdoor adventurers who demand durability in a light, ergonomic, barely-there package, it’s also exactly what you’d want for the daily grind, too. It comes in a CPM-S30V drop-point blade to make maintenance a breeze. The Crater Blue Grivory® handle, reminiscent of the icy depths of the sea, is contrasted by the Flat Dark Earth Cerakote® blade finish.
Storm Gray Grivory
The Bugout® is one of the most popular knives in our line—and one of the most pocketed blades in the EDC community. Originally designed and built for outdoor adventurers who demand durability in a light, ergonomic, barely-there package, it’s exactly what you’d want for the daily grind, too. It comes in a CPM-S30V drop-point blade to make maintenance a breeze. The Storm Gray Grivory® handle and gray Cerakote® blade evoke the billowing clouds of a raging tempest.
Dark Olive Grivory
Whether you're drawn to the chassis or paint job mods, or the way a 4WD rig seems to climb up mountains rather than roll, but there’s just something about a custom overland vehicle that connects you with an adventure—much like our outdoors adventurists’ fav: the Bugout®. An ode to these tough and earthy ramblers, the new 535TN-11 Bugout® dons overlanding rig-inspired Dark Olive Grivory handle scales with a black anodized aluminum thumb stud and barrel spacers. Featuring a CPM-S30V steel blade with a Desert Verde Cerakote finish, the 535TN-11 loves a good off-road journey.
Grey/Redstone Aluminum & Richlite
We decided to mix it up a little bit with this premium Bugout® and, like, literally mix some materials. Inspired by the earthy tones found in our outdoor gear, backpacking kits, and accessories around the campsite, the new 535-09 Bugout® sets itself apart from others we’ve built thanks to handle scales that contrast a gray anodized 6061-T6 aluminum bolster with a Redstone Richlite onlay, plus a few other added pops of color found in the orange anodized thumb stud and backspacer. Featuring a premium CPM-S90V stainless steel stonewash polished blade, this unique 535-09 Bugout® has the same stunningly lightweight and compact feel as its predecessors and remains the ideal EDC on any outdoor adventure from the mountain trail to tasks around town. Over time, Richlite®, a paper composite material, will develop a natural patina over time, altering the original color of the material. "Patina” is a natural occurrence in the product that can either darken or lighten depending on exposure to light.
Taiga Green Grivory
The Bugout® gets a seasonal refresh with a Taiga Green Grivory® handle and McMillan Tan Cerakote blade. Paired with Burnt Copper accents, this limited variant is built for adventure while keeping weight to a minimum.
CF-Elite
The Bugout® they've all been waiting for. Blacked out from tip to tail, this Bugout® will be a favorite amongst customers of all lifestyles. Re-engineered with Benchmade's new CF-Elite® handle technology, the 535BK-2 weighs in slightly lighter than its predecessors, yet boasts greater rigidity under pressure. Just when you thought the Bugout® couldn't get any lighter
Crater Blue | Drop-point
While our best-selling Bugout®s sure do have an array of colors to choose from as far as handles go — folks have been asking about pairing this all-star EDC with more premium scales found on other styles. The new 535SL-13 Bugout® is built with a super sleek, ultralight, anodized aluminum handle in crater blue, a color we pulled from profoundly deep waters in nature. Featuring a premium CPM-S90V stainless steel drop point blade with a Cerakote® crushed silver finish, and turquoise anodized hardware, the new 535SL-13 is an elevated variant within the Bugout® family that carries light, tackling any EDC task, outdoors and in.
Burnt Brass Aluminum
Carbon Fiber
Since its inception, the Bugout® has achieved unmatched dominance as the premier ultralight EDC pocket knife. Now, it gets the elite Benchmade upgrade, in the form of the all-new 535-3. Spec'd out with a milled carbon-fiber handle, premium S90V super steel, and signature blue highlights. This latest addition to the Bugout® line retains all the crowd-pleasing features you love, while pushing its performance to the next level.
