The R.A.T.S. uses a solid elastic core of proprietary material with a polyester sheath, combined with a patented locking mechanism to make an incredibly fast tourniquet to apply to self or others. The inner core of the strap does have some latex. The core however, is made of a vulcanized rubber with a high silicone content. Chance of latex reaction is considered the same as if exposed to an automobile tire. Core is completely wrapped in a protective polyester sheath, which acts to shield the inner core from direct contact with the skin.
The R.A.T.S. Tourniquet should be kept in the plastic packaging until use. The device should be properly disposed of after use. Inspection of the device should take place before use. Inspection should consist of looking for any fraying of the sheath, cracks in the metal cleat, or any other deformities of the device that could compromise the tourniquet. If any of these conditions exist, do not use and promptly replace the tourniquet.

When properly applied, the R.A.T.S. Tourniquet is a safe
and effective device for controlling life-threatening hemmoraghing . Consult an EMS professional for proper training on any and all tourniquet use. Do not apply over solid objects. Read all directions and understand proper use before any attempt to render aid. If used due to trauma, go to the nearest hospital immediately.

Returns Policy
You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the 'Complete Orders' link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.
Shipping
We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.
